Install clockwork or module in clocks or watches. The clockwork includes all mechanisms, movements, motors, and wheel work present in clocks and watches. In mechanical timepieces, in which clockwork movements are made of several moving parts, the clockwork is called caliber or clock movement. In electronic or quartz timepieces, the term module is more commonly applied.
